TV Shows problem
#1
Hi,

I have run into a problem when trying to set up TV shows.

On my SMB server, I have a share 'vol3'.

In vol3, I created a "TV Shows" directory, in which I created a "Star Trek" directory.

I added vol3\TV Shows as a video source; and it did scan the Star Trek directory, but it does not find any of the episodes!

I have tried many ways of naming the episodes:

startrek.s02.e41.MP4

tv.startrek.s02.e41.MP4

star trek.s02.e41.MP4

obsession.s02.e41.MP4

but whenever I navigate into Videos -> TV Shows -> Star Trek

I was testing the above on Eden beta 2, Windows 7

Help!

the episode list is empty.

Forget the names.

To get thetvdb to scraped the episodes perfectly, just name them.

Fx. 2x41

Put every season in their own folders.

Thanks dizzyikea; that did the trick!

I was using the episode numbers from wikipedia, now I will subtract the "season offset"

You're welcome, I have about 15 different tv shows, and I don't have a problem scraping any of them when I'm not using names.

In dvd order it's the same.

fx 1x01-02-03-04.iso for the first four episodes.

If it's specials or bonus.

It need to be named 0x01 the next special 0x02

Everything will allways work this way.
