hese are my current settings.
Render Method - Auto Detect
Allow Hardware Acceleration (CrystalHD) - Enabled
Adjust display refresh rate to match video - Enabled
Pause during refresh rate change - Off
Sync playback to display - Enabled
A/V sync method - Audio clock
The problem remains, everything still plays at 60hz.
I do have a system running Openelec, which I can copy any files or information from. Please let me know which files on that would effect the output to the display, and I will copy them across to this machine.

Read the first lines of the log you posted on page 1 - your tv/x-server only reports resolutions with 60hz refreshrates - so xbmc can't switch to anything else of course...

Yes, I did wonder about that. But why is it doing that, and what can I do to change it?
Perhaps I'm not asking the right questions, but I don't feel like I'm getting many answers here, only problems.

This is caused by the underlaying windowing system. I guess its the X.org - Server which runs on your atv1. This is out of XBMCs scope imho.
