First of all, here's my log:

I am trying to play an h264/MKV file. It plays fine in Media Player Classic with the CCCP codec pack installed, but XBMC doesn't provide audio.

I have this setup running Windows 7, if that makes a difference.

Please post the whole log not just an extract, and please enable debug logging from System settings, System, Debugging, then restart XBMC before trying to play the video.

Figured it out. It was an issue with my TV being treated as DTS capable
