Thanks DanielaE, I am a home theater installer for a living so I understand the constraints of HDMI very well. My background in computers however isnt nearly as versed, in looking into the issue further Im starting to think my issue my be outside of XBMC. Whenever I am in a room that is not producing audio if I go into my control panel- manage an audio device, my DENON AVAMP has disappeared. I dont know what would cause this to happen, any chance you could advise? It seems to be that 3 out of the 4 rooms work fine but as soon as I attempt to use the room thats giving me grief, the audio device DENON AVAMP disappears and I dont get audio anywhere until I shut down all 4 rooms (PC still running) and then I can turn on and use any of the 3 working rooms again without issue. Ultimately I am wondering what would cause this device to disappear from the list?

Thanks again for the patch, but TrueHD files are not working. Bad stutter initially then dropouts every few minutes. So i reverted back to the OG version of this one in Daniela's first post until fixed. Everything is back to normal now! Note to upgraders..... "if it aint broke, don't fix it"....lol! I realized after reverting that i should have posted debug log, but a few other people posted they were having the same issue so I didn't.....sorry

Then som bluray in fileformat, true-hd and dts-ma
