I haven't looked at your logs but is it possible it's stuck in dfu mode? maybe a forced recovery using tiny umbrella would help if it is...

FWIW my atv2 will very occasionally refuse to boot and sits there with the blinking white light. Nothing to do with xbmc, the apple itself won't come up. Rebooting it with the ethernet cable removed gets it going, then just plug it back in once it's up. Sometimes I have to stand on one leg too.

Maybe this is a jailbreak related issue. The current seas0npass jailbreak is not stable and may cause kernel panic and boot failure. Maybe we could ask the jailbreak developers for impoving their work.

We have covered this before, xbmc and atv-flash's media player are incompatible. ^^ that's the signature. libsmbclient.dylib.0 is ours, libsmbclient.dylib is theirs and the symbols table is gets mangled.

Davilla, I appreciate your knowledge and your willingness to help, that is why I am here. But I have read about the two not getting along but I have had no problems for months. Not only that, my other ATV2 (bedroom) has never had atv-flash installed in it and it is doing the exact same thing my living room atv2 is. As soon as xbmc starts up, the eden beta 2 logo comes on for awhile and then as soon as xbmc comes up you see up on the top that it is scanning for content, that lasts about 5 seconds and then I am sent back to the ATV2 "dashboard." This time I have all my info ready:

Bedroom ATV2 Version 4.4.4 (3330)(unlike the living rooms 4.3)
Jailbreak Seasonpass

Thank you very much sir! It was indeed a bad rar. I deleted the file and all is well. I was up all last night trying to figure this out. But on the bright side at least I learned how to get debug log, syslog and crashreports so that I can make proper posts.
