Hi,

I just installed xbmc live on my little mediacomputer (some old components).
I didnt want to install a linux on it because i allways have problems with it to get it configured (linux hates me Tongue)
And i'm not gonne install a windows version because then the movies dont play fluid.

First thing, i dont think it finds my soundcard, when i put in an usb device and i play a movie from it, then it says : failed to initialize audio device
The soundcard is a : soundblaster live
So where/how do i activate it.

Second problem is.
On my network i have a nas and on another tv i have a mediaplayer (lacie).
Now i want to acces both devices from this xbmc device.
When i go and say add device, then it finds the nas but it doesnt find the lacie.
But when i go to the nas, it cant find any movie/picture/.. on it.
What did i do wrong there with the nas and what did i do wrong to find the lacie.

Tx in advance

Well considering you are running XBMC-Live you are running linux. That's important to note. First you need to log into a shell and run the following
aplay -l
and
aplay -L
the first one is a lower case L.

Provide that output here, and tell us what audio connections you are using. Also, provide the sound options from the system->audio menu in xbmc. There are a few options there and perhaps choosing one of the other devices will work for you.
