Transparency work with TV Tuner cards?

If so, do they need to be a specific brand/type? Also, does it include features like an EPG, Recording etc?

yup Tranparency! has support for pvr.

you need to run the pvr build of xbmc though.
it does include epg and recording capabilities.

i can't tell you what tv tuner card you need, the skin doesn't care.
it needs to be supported by the pvr backend you're going to use.

the latest available is pre-eden beta2
