xbmc crash to front row then loads fine?
#1
Hi guys i have a pesky issue with xbmc crashing on both of my ATV2's. What happens is when i start xbmc, it will crash right back to frontrow. I will then start xbmc again and it works just fine, however it will eventually crash later on (the only reason i know this is because I never exit out of xbmc and when i wake up in the morning or come home from work it is back on frontrow). I have never seen it crash during video play back, it seems to do just fine playing up to 1080p x.264 movies, besides some occasional buffering (wirelessSad).

Would it be possible for someone to take their time and sift through my logs to assist me it would be most appreciatedBlush

Can you update to Beta2 and see if the problem still occurs? The crash after idle is discussed here in the forums already, does this explain your problem aswell?

I think that may have fixed the issue, I started xbmc after the update (funny thing is, i thought i was on beta2 *doh*) and it did not crash immediately. I will see when i get home from work, if it has crashed back to atv menu. Thanks for taking a look (even though it was something i should have tried firstBlush).
