why remove your issue and say that you have found the problem and it's resolved.
The best thing about forums is that ppl can use the search, maybe someone else experience this problem who cant find a way to resolve it and finds this empty topic |

You are right I didn't think about that. My issue was when navigating through tv shows and seasons xbmc would lock up showing only the fan art though I could alt+ctrl+del and log off then back on and things were fine until it happens randomly again. Here is the error log
Quote:13:42:35 T:4968 ERROR: XFILE::CDirectory::GetDirectory - Error getting E:\Tv Shows\Robot Chicken\extrafanart/ I went through all my tv show folders and noticed for some reason more than half of the extrafanart folders were deleted. After re running the autofanart downloader it recreated all the folders and got back all the missing art work and I haven't had the issue again. Still not sure what caused them to go missing in the first place though. |

Sounds suspiciously similar to the dirty regions issue
http://code.google.com/p/mod-skin/issues/detail?id=10 Disabling dirty regions fixed the exact same issue for me. ie freezing when backing out of TV shows. |

I have the same issue with this. It happens more often than not. Running RC1 win7, latest MQ3.

mmackenzie Wrote:Sounds suspiciously similar to the dirty regions issue Yes this was also my problem! I removed the code below from my advancedsettings.xml <gui> <algorithmdirtyregions>1</algorithmdirtyregions> <nofliptimeout>1000</nofliptimeout> </gui> Now no hang-ups when switching/backing out of menu etc. |

I have the same issue.
Did anybody of you make it work with dirtyregions enabled? Maybe by using a different algorism (2,3) or differend nofliptimeout? I hadn't any success... I would like to have the tweak enabled (lower CPU usage..) Seems only to occur with Aeon MQ3 I have a AMD Fusion based htpc |

Anyone else have this problem? Very frustrating having to restart XBMC every time I have to back out of TV shows. Has Macro acknowledged the issue? The google code link shows some others but not sure if it's a priority with him.

Same here. Hopefully people are pressing the star button at google code.
It happens every time with TV Shows , and a couple times with Advanced Launcher. I can't make it happen every time with Advanced Launcher though. Linux Mint- XFCE - Confluence
