Just installed XBMC Live 10.1, first time using it. Everything is awesome except wifi.
Done a lot of reading on how to get the Intel 6230 working in Ubuntu 10.04...
Installed linux-backports-modules-wireless-lucid-generic from Compat-Wireless Project - card not detected
Installed Intel Drivers from http://intellinuxwireless.org/?n=downloads - card not detected.
I have not yet tried to build my own version of Compat-Wireless per here: http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Download/stable/ I'm not sure if XBMC Live has the prerequisites.
Does anyone know of a step-by-step, broken down shotgun style, how-to guide for getting the Intel 6230 working with XBMC Live 10.1? I was also hoping to use the bluetooth ability of this card for game controllers.
Thank you
Update
Noticed that Beta 3 of newest version is available by reading this: http://www.xbmcfreak.nl/en/ Will try that instead of 10.1. Hopefully driver is built into kernel!
