Crystalhd, Adobe Flash 11.1 64 bit, and Ubuntu 11.10 64 bit

I'm trying to get crystalhd working and I've compiled the driver, modprobed crystalhd, and added /etc/adobe/mms.cfg file: EnableLinuxHWVideoDecode=1 OverrideGPUValidation=true for flash.

dmesg shows the driver has loaded

I have read 64 bit linux version of flash should work.

it still appears that adobe flash content is not being accelerated. I have not heard of anyone who has gotten these versions to work although older versions have been reported. In theory the above should work though as there is information from various sources that each are compatible.

I have no idea how to tell if adobe's flash player is taking advantage of decoder card either. I only know that the picture is not smooth. I am testing with Hulu and content from CBS.

I also should mention I have a 1.5mbps connection although don't believe this to be the problem.

Although now that I am looking I see hulu recommends:

720p - a minimum of 3.5Mbps downstream bandwidth is recommended

There is nothing else downloading. The connection is dedicated to streaming video. Suggestions?

And yea- i'm trying to get XBMC working with it too. I haven't gotten that far. I want flash working first.

ive got exactly the same issue, but using the 32-bit version of flash.

Flash is not using the card for some reason.
