'Share' image URL to play on XBMC

I noticed the 'share with xbmc' option is available when choosing the option on websites. I was wondering if this would be able to work with image urls like youtube links do, or would this require a separate xbmc plugin to decode the sent link? I'm not sure if the android remote is designed to only work with youtube urls, but seems like it would be a cool ability to offer.

If not, maybe I'll look into learning how to make a add on to make this possible Smile

strangely i just installed the app hoping it would do this very thing!

but is there any way to send image url's to display on xbmc?

Try the YATSE widget/remote the developer integrated it upon my request. Great guy!
