Hello all. I recently installed Fedora 16 on a laptop and then installed xbmc 2 on said laptop. Using hamachi I am able to see files on computers not even on my network, so I know that the Fedora box has network access. The shares from my windows box even appear as smb shares when being browsed on the Fedora box. The issue I am having is when I try and add a source in the xbmc it cannot find any shares, even over the local network.
I am racking my brain trying to figure it out. It says Error 2, cannot retrieve share list. If anyone has any insight on how to make this work together I would be very appreciative. It is crucial that hamachi is the vpn that I use. Thank you.
Just did some testing, works fine with Ubuntu, but not Fedora.
