Hi,

Don't really know what's happening. I had an old clunker macbook circa 2006 that xbmc was flawless on, until the mac itself died. Decided to install it on another mac lying around, circa 2010, and had no end of difficulty.

Pretty much every video I try to open crashes xbmc. Any thoughts. It's the Eden Beta 3, but have tried a variety of different builds, and Aeon MQ3, the latest, 1.2.2 but again, had same problem on other builds.

Be very happy if someone could offer some thoughts?

I seem to remember vda hw decoder being 1st introduced in OS 10.6.3 and it was rather buggy. either turn off vda hw decoding or update the osx, I would NOT update to 10.7.x, take it to 10.6.8.
