Hi,

I am working on a program addon, and was wondering how to enable "filter" and/or "search" options that is usually found in the side menu (the one controlling the view/sort/...etc). I managed to enable sorting, but couldn't find anything about enabling filtering/searching.

This is an control of type edit which is set in the skin.
I guess it is not present in the program-section list view.

I see. But it is strange because I can see it in all the video addons. Does this mean it is not supported in program addons, or it is just part of the skin and not related to which kind of addon it is.

The edit-control is just not present in the view which is used with program plugins. You could ask jezz_x to add it.
You can also have a look to other skins - maybe they are using this control in their views.

I didn't look at the code but im quite sure that it is supported in every list-control-container.
