like the AMD APU FM1 socket'ed mini-ITX one i link to in my HTPC guide,
has a feature in its BIOS that once turned on,
it'll allow users to powerON from complete OFF state using a Remote.
and this feature is not to be confused with the CIR feature....
but yeah, both features allow this powerON thing your looking for....

Yes, it is little confusing. I want take ASROCK, that you suggested and use my Harmony One. Could I use only some IR receiver (for example http://www.amazon.ca/Windows-Control-Inf...424&sr=8-1) connected to USB and will it completely works (included Power ON/OFF)? No necessity of Asrock CIR and Asrock remote (http://asrock.com/mb/spec/card.asp?Model=Smart%20Remote)?

Thank you very much for your help.

well, i'd go for the $25 ASROCK SMART REMOTE if i were you,,,
why?
well, i cant confirm you if the BIOS PowerON feature i told you about will work without issues.
user named BALINUS has great success but other users are having a hard time making it actually work,,,
But ASROCK SMART REMOTE = %100 success

Thank you very much. I have http://www.amazon.ca/Windows-Control-Inf...424&sr=8-1 in my ION build, so I will try it in this new build and if there are problems, I will buy Asrock Smart Remote.
