Hi everyone,
Could anybody tell me if there is a way to transfer files/movies from an external hard drive to my XBMC htpc. I don't have a network set up and I want to physically attach the external drive and copy content that way.

Connect by USB, make sure the drive is mounted and:

cp <file_on_external> <destination_file_on_internal>

Make sure permissions on the internal drive are what they should be.
