[AppleTv2] Synology Nas not showing

Hey guys

I got my apple tv 2 and SD1511 NAS in yesterday. Time for a nice setup. The appletv is jailbroken, installed XBMC on it, The Nas disk works fine and all ports are open its reachable and working.

So somehow the ATV2 doesnt see the Nas disk , UPnP is enabled. Any ideas why it wont see the disk. The ATV2 and NAS are both shown active on the same network.

Maybe I need to open another port or I forgot to do something else.

My crystal ball is not working at the moment so I will suggest that you provide a logfile.

Also, upnp is not very good for use with xbmc as you can't add items into your library from a upnp server. That being said it should still be browsable in the add source dialog.

Try using smb or ftp instead. Read the FAQ and the guide to posting a question.

Log file won't help until you tell us what you did for adding the upnp source...

Thanks for the heads up and instructions UPnP works now on the ATV2 , it connects to the synology DS1511.

I will go trough the FAQ to get SMB instead. Thanks for mentioning that.

All FIxed SMB working, Also my PS3 sees it now.
