Wireless Buffering Normal?
#1
I put in a new router yesterday and my network speeds are up to what they should be. I've had a box in my bedroom for a while now and I have no ethernet so it uses wireless N. It used to play things fine but now every time I play a SD TV episode, it pauses to buffer. Is that normal on wireless or do I need to change a setting?

You mean it constantly pauses to buffer throughout playback?

Or it buffers once at the beginning of playback?

Good question. Last night it started buffering and was going 1% like every 10 seconds, however I was copying files to the server over ethernet so that may have been affecting it. All the copying was done this morning so I went to play an episode of 24 and it buffered at the beginning, faster but it did do it and I watched like a minute. There was a point in time where I was watching stuff over wifi with no buffering. That's why I think maybe I need to change something either in XBMC or maybe on the new router?
