Will XBMCbuntu Beta 3 be upgradeable to first stable release?

I've been using a Live setup in and lack most Linux skills... Just wondering if I should try setting up Beta 3 now or if I should perhaps wait until the final release to avoid losing all my config...

You never have to lose all your config, just backup /home/xbmc/.xbmc/userdata

That said, an upgrade path instead of reinstalling would be good. I've made quite a few tweaks now to get things running as they are!

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
