I fixed mine tonight,I got the latest stable version of xbmc,I still couldn't see some files,I noticed when I changed the view to date that the files I couldn't see were all together,thats when I figured out that it had to be the date ,so I made a folder on my desktoop and copied the files that I couldn't open,and put them in the folder on my desktop,then I went back and deleted the files on my HD,then I cut the files in the new folder I made and pasted them back in my HD,so they would have todays date on them, now I can see all my files.All is good again .I hope this helps someone,the date is the key!
