RC-1 doesn't play the VIDEO_TS movies in library mode while using NFS source. Same issue as beta's! Samba works though.

That does not mean you can't run applications made in xcode 3 on 10.8.

I just installed twice Eden RC 1 on my ATV- 1. RC-1 is flawed. No audio. Rebooting, pulling plug, etc. does nothing to correct the problem. Everything was just fine with Eden Beta 3. It was stable, good sound, etc etc. I reinstalled 10.0 and got all my sound back again. Then I reinstalled Eden RC-1 and the sound was gone again. How do I get Eden Beta 3 so I can install it instead of RC-1 on the ATV? I like the features of Eden, but without sound, it's a non starter. Thanks for any suggestions.

@simbafish: Please post a debug log so that the dev who messed with sound can see + fix the problem.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first.

I have never done that before. How do I "obtain" a debug log? My computer is an iMac OS 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard). The ATV (silver) has iOS 3.0.2. Please don't assume I know anything about the system, details on how to download a debug report would be appreciated. Thanx

In the meantime, how do I install Eden Beta 3 on the ATV-1 so I am up and running again? Beta 3 is no longer listed as a download; only 10.0 and Eden 11.0 RC -1. I just found a copy of xbmc-Eden_beta3-xbmcbuntu.iso on the web but don't know how to get it from my computer to the ATV for installing. I use Cyberduck for SSH files. Would this work and how?

What's your point, are we just stating the obvious?

My point is that 10.8 is released for developers, since it's not publicly available we can't work on it. Once it's out we will make sure xbmc can be built on it

XBMC targets 10.4SDK, that's why Xcode 4.4 and/or Mountain Lion are issues. 10.4SDK is gone there. Both issues will be addressed AFTER eden as we will bump to 10.6SDK.

Major Audio Sync issues with RC1... everything ran fine using b3.

First time posting a debug log so hopefully I did this correctly!

Platform: ATV2
IOS Vers: 4.4.4
XBMC Build: Eden RC1
Install Method: Using ATV Flash or Nito installer
Debug Log: http://pastebin.com/s5KZN0QY

Description: Anytime you go to play an video file the video seems to immediately speed up and then settles down to normal but the audio is always out of sync at that point. (I have attempted on various file and audio codecs and all seem to exhibit the issue).

Thanks!

OK... I feel foolish... audio sync issues occurred after install and even after multiple restarts (lowtide) of the ATV2 ... Once I performed a complete reboot, sync issues disappeared. Sorry for the false alarm!

Don't forget to pastebin your log and put a link here, so that someone can help you. And, more importantly, you can help to catch the bugs for everyone else!

PS.... xbmcbuntu is a full linux install with xbmc as the UI - you can't just "run" it on your atv....

http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=968726&postcount=4

shows you how to install a specific version of xbmc on ATV (in this case it's beta1, but change the 1 to a 3 in the example and that should get you up and running with beta3 again)....

Finally, don't want to sound like a b*tch, but the above info took me 2 google queries to find. I just wanted to know why you are road testing unstable software and you don't even know where the debug logs are? Again, nothing b*tchy, just curious?

As reported, upgrading XBMC on the ATV1 (silver) from Eden Beta 3 to Eden RC 1 resulted in NO AUDIO. Everything else seems to be working fine. Going back to vers. 10.0, I have audio, but reinstalling to RC 1, no audio again. Rebooting Finder, ATV, pulling plug etc has no effect. I have created a public bug report at http://pastebin.com/TXsrVXNB, but where do I file this report? Just here on this forum or elsewhere? Thanks for your help.

Platform: ATV1 (silver)
iOS 3.0.2
XBMC Eden RC 1
Downloaded and installed within ATV1
My full debug report can be found at http://pastebin.com/TXsrVXNB

Off course not, I was saying that I cannot build and test it using the xcode project files on Mountain Lion to find the issue.
