Probably not as i'm guessing the majority of users use a remote control (ir/wi-fi/rf), you would have to make a patch or try and get someone to make a patch for you. You don't understand why you have to configure things to work the way you want them? Do you know how many possible input devices there are out there? There is no "easy" way to just add support for all of them. That's why you have to use something like Event Ghost as an in between. |

I think xbmc needs a interface similar to zsnes or snes9x where it list a set of inputs and when you click, say "up" you press a button on the device and it sets that button to "up" This would take care of problems like people complaining about xbox controllers not working. What do you think? |

Def should be something at one point to consider
but overall there are always bigger needs that a $20 remote won't fix and it's not like it won't work...will just take a little research but then again if you look at xbmc it is built to be a base...then all of the things that most people would have a diff opinion on are made to be added on some will want an xbox controller to work...some will want a ps3 etc. most people use a remote...so if you go and get a mse remote it works i tried my best but hey it my character flaw to point out...."I just don't understand why I -as the user- have to start searching forums on how to configure it" that is priceless lol WE ALL WE GOT |
