Eden : AVI files playing to fast
#1
Hi,

I have installed the most recent daily from Openelec Eden beta 2 (OpenELEC-Generic.i386-devel-20120125153526-r9647.tar)

Playback of 720p Avi files fomr my Nikon D5000 is too fast (like playing on FFWx2). I have uploaded a small sample at http://www.mediafire.com/?4rf3en30q2rc56h
Avi-format from my Nikon D5000 :
Avi v1.0
Audio : PCM Auidio 11025 Hz 176 kb/s (1chnl)
Video : MJPG (Motion JPG) - 21661 kbps - 24 fps - 1280x720

I have discovered that :
- At clean install, when HDMI audio is not yet configured (analog audio out is selected), the AVI-file plays fine : playback speed is OK (don't know about audio - have no analog out).
- When I configure my hdmi audio :
- output: hdmi
- device : default (alsa)
- passthrough : hdmi (alsa)
ONLY THEN the same AVI files plays too fast (and I have audio - also too fast). Have impression that most other formats play correctly (audio + video)
When I go back to analog audio, the AVI file plays at normal speed again.

I took a debug log of Avi file playing to fast with hdmi audio. See :

Thx!
Thomas.
