I hope that i am not requesting something that maybe already exists, i have played with the xbmc settings, and even asked google, could not see anything.

Is it possible, like in mediabrowser, when opening a TV Show, season 01, if there is 22 Episodes, but episode 1 - 18 is already watched, that XBMC automagically jumps to the first unplayed item (in this case episode 19)

Toggle "hide watched" and it will do just that.

You could use Watchlist. It makes a list of all your next episodes to watch.

Little late here but I agree with evilcult. I'm curious to know the thinking behind the decision (if there was one) to setting up xbmc to play the very first episode ever time.

makes sense to me to expect xmbc will automatically play the first unwatched (or start playback where one left off from the latest watched) episode rather than playing s01e01 every time.

Sure, you can hide content, but where is the fun in hiding your impressive library?

Maybe in the gingerbread release?
