iPhone 4, XBMC and MKV 720p
#1
Hi there! Just found this great app, didn't even know it existed 2 hours ago and yet i use it as media center all the time on my pc.
Not to the point, i'm trying to play 720p MKV video files on my iPhone 4, iOS 5.0.1. But it won't. audio and video with no sync. I've tried enabling and disabling hardware accelaration and "sync playback to display", with all possible combinations. i've deleted guisettings.xml. it won't play.
if i disable hardware acceleration both audio and video lag, unwatchable, if i enable it, the video goes way faster than audio (audio plays at the correct speed, along with subtitles (separate srt file))...
Any ideas?
i'm using xbmc 11.0-rc1.

btw, im not able to add attachments... would you like me to paste the content of the log file?
thanks!

Audio sync is a known issue with RC1. RC2 fixes it.

i have also a mkv file with an h264 l4.1 codec, but thats my problem al the time, every media player i tried on my ipod touch 4g ended up not playing h246 l4.1 video files, mkv and mp4, both didnt work or has a great amount of lag, because, so far i know, the ipod touch 4g and allmost all other idevices supports only up to l3.1 h264 codec, and I WANT TO PLAY l4.1 Sad, so i think thats the problem... and if anyone knows something PLEASE HELP!
