logitech harmony one not working.
#1
Hi,

Sorry, but I am very unskilled with linux and xbmc
I have been reading post after post on this issue, and do not seem to be getting anywhere.

I am trying to get my harmony one working as a controller for my mythbuntu/xbmc 12.2 setup

uname -a
Linux MythTV 3.2.0-56-generic #86-Ubuntu SMP Wed Oct 23 09:20:45 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
The case is a Silverstone LC16B-M USB 3.0 Black HTPC Case

lsusb
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 15c2:0036 SoundGraph Inc. LC16M VFD Display/IR Receiver
the VFD is working fine and displays what I have chosen

ir-keytable (as root)
Found /sys/class/rc/rc0/ (/dev/input/event10) with:
Driver imon, table rc-imon-pad
Supported protocols: RC-6 other
Enabled protocols:
Repeat delay = 500 ms, repeat period = 125 ms

ir-keytable (as user)
Found /sys/class/rc/rc0/ (/dev/input/event10) with:
Driver imon, table rc-imon-pad
Supported protocols: RC-6 other
Enabled protocols:
Extra capabilities: <access denied>

I set up the box on the remote as device "Media Center PC (SoundGraphiMon)"

running ir-keytable with -t, gives no feedback at all (is this because there are no enabled protocols? and if so how do you enable them?)

When using the remote only the following works
- left / right / up / down -- but these may work when pressed or may take 3 or 4 presses to actually move in the direction chosen
- play/pause -- this will pause and resume any video I am watching.

any and all help appreciated.

Thanks.
