[REQ] Auto Reset to "Splash Info Screen" ?

Hey there.
I am currently searching for a feature which would be pretty neat for my system.

I would like to use a little touch screen to quickly select music to play from xbmc.
What i am searching for is a feature which resets to a "lock screen" / "splash screen" after x minutes of inactivity. So when you walk away and come back you will see some infos like weather, currently playing, time and so on.

Any suggestions? Smile

you could use slideshow as screensaver and create an own slideshow.xml. needs some skinning skills though.

This idea should really be put forth in the 'Feature Suggestions' thread http://forum.xbmc.org/forumdisplay.php?fid=9 I does seem to have merit. Thinking of many situations in which music plays all day in a locked mode with the display on or off.
