man, im reading we'll have to wait till 3rd quarter of 2012
to get our hands on those Dual-Core versions..

and no triple core versions apparently...

I don't see any reason to get these over the current models. I don't think there would be any 'real world' improvement for HTPC... just higher cost.

I'm waiting for the current 65w A8 to drop in price and then I'm on it. If I did not run Windows Media Center PVR I'd not even need that... just get a low-end A4 or something and go.

Are they available to buy separately? I can't find any A8-3800 or 3820 anywhere in Europe. It seems that they are only available in prebuilt systems.
