After lots of hunting around for a new HTPC i have got it down to the two new zboxes the ID80 and ID81 i just dont know which is the safer option. I plan on running just XBMC on it and will probably never put windows on it.

ID 80 - Atom D2700 2.13GHz / NVIDIA GT520M

ID 81 - Celeron 857 1.2GHz (Sandy Bridge) / Intel HD

Is Intel HD going to be good enough or am i going to regret not going Nvidia?

Anyone else read this threqad jsut to se what he was getting at with such a vague topic?

Anyway, I'm not too familiar with the CPUs (just search for X vs X) but as far as gaming goes, the Nvidia is slightly better.... this is usually reflected in media performace.

I think I remember reading that Nvidia is the safe bet with anything Linux-based, but I'm not the one to say for certain.

It would be interesting to see how the dual core Celeron does with the integrated Intel graphics. I wouldn't want to be the guinea pig though
