Connecting to a VPN before running an addon, and disconnecting after?

Hi there,

i have a standard vpn setup for the uk (i am outside the uk), when i wish to view ITV , BBC i would like XBMC to connect to my vpn adn then after disconnect

Is this possible?

Or is it possible to run something before and after the addon as i am sure i can find to scripts to connect my vpn automatically.

Or maybe there is a VPN management addon for XBMC??

I have tried searching the forums but i can't find anything.

It would just help that rather having to use the keyboard to connect / disconnect my vpn depending on what i want to view.

I think you're out of luck on this one - as far as I know, there's nothing for vpn management. The closest you get is proxy settings in some addons.

Maybe you could try some sort of macro.
