I realize that the 2nd Gen iPod Touch is not on this page http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=HOW...iPod_touch. I was kind of hoping that there is a way of getting it to work. I installed it, but it does not want to open; I try but it closes instantly.

Any help is appreciated.

Unrelated question: Why can't you use Hotmail on here? Just wondering..

Currently impossible. Now XBMC for iOS is built and optimized for armv7, but iPod touch 2G only has armv6 cpu which means bad performance for decoding. Sad

Won't work ever. 2G has only 128mb ram. Its not about ARMv6 vs. ARMV7 ...

Plus the OpenGLES version on iPod touch second gen isn't up to snuff.

Thanks for the replys.

I guess it's not that big of a deal, I only wanted this so I could try it before buying an ATV. Quick question on the ATV though. When you use XBMC on the it, is there a way to make it the OS? I am use to using XBMC on the Xbox 1 and it was the primary OS, not a app/program.

its possoble ... look for xbmc booter here in the forum. I don't recommend this though...
