Harmony One : button press delay
#1
Just recently bought a Harmony One and trying to get it to work with my XBMC setup. Works fine but it seems to take a long way for the buttonpresses to be registered by the htpc (mac mini). Is there a way to fix this?

If you search the forum you'll find hundreds of post on this subject.

In brief, you need to use the harmony setup to reduce the interkey delay setting. Reduce it until the remote stops working and use the smallest setting that works reliably. The Harmony handsets have a fundamental limitation of around 3 to 4 button presses per second, so you'll never get an instant response, but it can be made acceptably fast. I use a Harmony 300 and find it generally acceptable.

Aye

Can't remember actually fiddling with the delay on my 700, but it was some time ago. Anyhow, it feels very responsive for all my devices and I'd basically say zero lag with my HTPC.
