Would this motherboard suffice for a Linux/XBMC setup? Im putting in an old HD for NAS-work as well.
Main use will be HD-film, TV (TV-card) and some streaming (watching, not broadcasting)

I meant brand and part # - Asus, Zotac etc. or a link to the exact motherboard.

D2700DC with GMA3650 GPU is in the list of unsupported hardware for OpenELEC.
It runs Windows pretty well, though there is some lag in minimizing/maximizing Windows when using Aero. 1080p HD MKV H.264 (what I tested) runs fine with Windows Media Player. I did not test XBMC. I would expect it to not do well with 1080i TV deinterlacing. Streaming will be hit-or-miss depending on the media player. Netflix HD didn't do well.
My conclusion from testing it was it makes a good nettop and a very good audio PC (since it's passive) but as a video HTPC I would not build/sell D2700-based HTPCs.

I would stick with a AMD or Nvidia based graphics if you want it to work well with linux and HD streaming
