Hey all -
So I've been trying to figure out how to help XBMC play my media files correctly. With a movie-length piece, I have the time to go through the zoom options manually to find the one that works.
However, I watch a lot of music videos, and it's tedious to have to change the zoom setting every 3 minutes. So I've been looking into MP4s, and apparently they have a metadata tag for aspect ratio, that's referenced by the media player.
1) How does XBMC use the metadata aspect ratio tag? If I set that tag appropriately, will XBMC automatically stretch squashed videos, or remove letterboxing?
2) Does anyone have a tool they use for this? Or a list of acceptable MP4 Tag types?
Thanks for your help.
