ok so basically i am wanting to play a movie off my xbmsp server but through a play button in my python script. what code would i use to do this (any help would be great)

i tried :
xbmc.player().play("xbms://192.168.0.1:1400/test.avi")
but it just freezes and does nothign and then i cant quit.
