I have setup my media portal server and the xbmc plugin.
Now in XBMC i go to installed add-ons select the media portal add on and the descriptions displays, the configure button works, but when I hit enable it doesn't appear to recognize I hit enable. It almost seams like the focus of the click isn't right or something.
I'm sure this is something very simple, but i'm a n00b. Any ideas? I haven't verified if there is anything in the log, but XBMC appears fine, just won't register that I am clicking enable.
Is there a way to manually enable the add-on?

That is not going to work. You replaced xbmc.exe by a non pvr version.

post #6 on the thread I got it from said it was from your repo. I'm still unclear of what the original issue was from that thread as I updated to an NVidia 8400GS and had the issue until I used that .exe
If his comment wasn't accurate could you point me in a direction of creating my own build to get around that issue?
Sorry i'm new, but your help is greatly appreciated

is there any more info I can provide that will help?
If I install any version of Eden (yours or any non PVR version) I get the error in the other thread. If I use the exe from the thread which is suppose to be built with your version and your current download I hit the focus issue where I can't enable the Add-on.
I'd be open to learning how to compile my own build to work around this, or manually enable the add in. I'm just not positive what is the best option for me.
It appears the "nvidia" issue has hit a few people, but it doesn't really explain what the "exe fix" does.
Just brainstorming out loud I guess.....

The only three reasons I know for not being able to enable the pvr addon are:
1) not using a PVR enabled XBMC version
2) a change in database format (addon??.db, pvr??.db). Can be solved by deleting both.
3) the actual addon binary (XBMC_MPTV_*.pvr) is missing from the addon folder.
You are probably using an older custom build XMBC.exe against my rc2 build so I can't help you.
You could try enabling debug logging in XBMC and check your xbmc.log file for are clues, but I guess that you have to wait until the official XBMC source tree contains a fix for your Eden crash problem.

Thanks for your help. i'll update if I solve it. I might try and compile from your branch and see if it helps. Reading the ticket for my exact error the person that made the exe said he didn't change anything just compile. I'm debating getting git and visual studio setup for this.
