So I'm watching a TV episode or movie and bring up the menu to check weather or whatever. How do I make the damn menus go away and have the video keep playing? I couldn't for the life of me figure it out the other night!
Server: Synology Diskstation 1511+ with 8x WD Red NAS 3TB drives, DSM 5.2

And a general way (for example if you only have a remote):
In confluence (eden version) in the main menu (where I guess you are) there is also a button which is labeled "Full Screen" - this one takes you back to fullscreen-video.
