I just got the atv3 and played some compressed h.264 1080p thru Itunes...plays flawlessly! Waiting to install XBMC after jailbreak!

How to tell how much memory is present? "About" does'nt mention it!

http://ifixit.com will probably post a tear-down on the ATV3 soon that will tell us how much RAM and flash memory it has. Keep eyes posted there for the breaking news :)

Not so concerned about the extra resolution, but more ram would trigger me to order one pretty quickly.
