Full Screen Window vs, Adjust Display Refresh Rate
#1
Hi all,

I have a slight problem.

I really like the option to be able to adjust the display refresh rate to match the source video, but when doing this in the full screen window mode, I experience quite a lot of choppiness. I read in several places that changing the display settings so that the full screen window option was disabled, fixed this problem, which it did.

So all is good? Well, not quite...

I run XBMC from my pc with my TV as a secondary monitor. When XBMC is in true full screen mode, I cannot click anywhere on my primary monitor or Windows will minimise XBMC.

Has anyone ever come across a way to bypass this, I really would like to keep the adjust display refresh rate option selected but while I can't use my PC to do anything else at the same time, it just isn;t worth it.

Thanks for any help.

There is no way round this. Disable the fullscreen window option tells XBMC to use the fastest display mode, but as you've found it won't let another app have the focus.
