Nettop for 3D 1080p Movies??
#1
I have already built an HTPC as follows for the living room but what I would like to do is buy a nettop for the bedroom that can play all my movies over the network from my main XBMC. I have been reading the forums but I am looking for a definitive answer from someone who has one that can play 3D Movies at Full HD resolutions.

My Current HTPC:

Fractal Design Array MiniITX Case
Gigabyte GA-H55N-USB3
Crucial RealSSD C300 64GB
2x 2TB Samsung SpinPoint F4
Intel Core i3 540 3.06GHz
4GB DDR3

Thanks eskro, what is it that prevents the other netbooks from handling 3D. Is it CPU or GPU and shouldn't the AMD Llano based nettops be able to handle it?

yes, AMD Llano nettops should handle 3D indeed.

to handle FULL 3D, you need HDMI 1.4 mainly.

Zotac ID36 look full 3d capable from their product info. They look better imo than the standard Zotac boxes too.

Very expensive though. I am looking for something a bit cheaper and I don't need blu-ray or any sort of disk drive.

It's been $300 AR a couple of times. Keep an eye out for it to drop again if it would fit your needs.
