I would love to see an RT add-on that scrapes http://rt.com/top-rated-videos/ , I tried adding their RSS feed as a video source but XBMC won't play them.

Seems ok to me. Could you tell me which version of XBMC you are running and also include a pastebin dump of the xbmc.log file
