Right in my desperate crusade to see the latest Home & Away episodes I signed up with a SmartDNS. I changed my location to Australia and installed both this plugin and the original 7 plugin. Still no luck though. The original plugin gives a url not found error. Bog-gob's version doesn't even list any episodes. I just get a script error. I notice the addon settings has a section for the location of rtmpdump. I'm using OpenElec so I think I may be out of luck there. Regardless I set the path to OE's librtmpdump.so but still no joy. Not sure what else I can do? Any suggestions? Besides relocating to Australia I mean! Big Grin

Hi VanZan, post your debug log to pastebin and put the URL in this thread, I'll see if I can get to the bottom of it

Just to add that I don't have any other Aussie plugins so I'm not 100% certain that it's not the SmartDNS at fault.

Hi VanZan,
I've looked at your log, it seems as thought the HTML scraper is not finding the correct content in the Channel 7 web page. It could be that 7 is somehow region blocking the HTML content (e.g. removing links to the video). It could be that the media PC DNS service is not using your proxy re-direct.

Thank you for your excellent work in keeping these channels up to date.

Is there any reason why Masterchef AU is missing from the channel 10 feed?

(I'm running Eden on an ATV2 - and see an entry for Masterchef US and empty folder beneath that)

Other shows are working great though I agree with an earlier poster that the empty folders are a little annoying.

It seems as though the Channel 10 page redirects to the Master Chef page rather than displaying video content, so the scraper is not finding any data. Master Chef will need a different scraper (I'm disinclined to do this at the moment because I don't watch the show). I also agree that displaying the empty folders is inconvenient but the alternative would be to have substantially longer directory load times as the plugin would have to individually request every show from the server and wait for the response to arrive before filtering out the empty responses.

Is there more to do? Or is that incorrect?

If it works it will to the dump in the background as a seperate process (so you may not notice from XBMC), try having a look in the destination folder (if you can't directly access the file system add the folder as one of your video sources and browse to it in XBMC).

I've been having a go with this too. Do you get any indication that the download is working or finished? Or do you just have to keep checking the file to see when it doesn't grow any bigger?

At the moment it doesn't give any indication

Just using the SBS2 plugin tonight. I've been trying to find an episode of Insight which comes up on the SBS On Demand web page but I can't find it in any of the categories displayed by the plugin. Also, when I choose "Catch up on last night" an error message pops up in the bottom right of the screen "Error Script failed : plugin.video.sbs2".

Is there a problem with the plugin?

BTW, I'm assuming the plugin isn't just for the SBS2 channel, and that it works for any SBS channel - is that correct?
