Yep thats rather good.

I do think that backgrounds should be a little more sublte though.

Maybe the logo should be smaller like the linux mint background

So...where do I put/name these great screens to make XBMC actually use them? The wiki seems clueless.

sorry for the late answer drose25. if you still don't know how to use this in XBMC:

XBMC isn't using it, but the skins do. so you have to configure your skins if you want to see a special image in XBMC. AFAIK every skins has the option to change the background-image for every section.

Thanks for the great work. How can I use these as my splash screen image (the image you see when XBMC first launches)? If I simply put it in the media folder as "splash.png", it seems to enlarge the image. FYI, I'm running the nightlies.
