Start of xbmc needs a long time on new Hardware DELL Notebook i5 Intel HD3000

XBMC Eden RC2.
I have a ZBox AD01 Fusion, this works fine.

So I get a new DELL Notebook with i5 und Intel HD3000. On the DELL Notebook the start of XBMC Eden RC2 needs 1 minute. In this time only the splash screen is show.

The debug log show
XBMC Debug.log
Quote:14:59:14 T:5136 ERROR: CRemoteControl::Connect - failed to connect
14:59:14 T:5136 INFO: CRemoteControl:Tonguerocess - failed to connect to irss, will keep retrying every 5 seconds
15:00:19 T:4084 DEBUG: SECTION:LoadDLL(special://xbmcbin/system/libcurl.dll)
So I think this is the delay

Have anyone a idea which settings for this behavior responsible??

Thanks Zippolighter

The CRemoteControl entries are not relevant. Those entries are just XBMC looking to see if InfraRed Server suite is installed, and they are always there. Can you enable debug logging, restart XBMC then post the whole log on http://pastebin.com/

Oops, sorry, I missed the link to the debug log.

There are lots of keymap errors in your log. I would temporarily rename your profile folder and see if that fixes the hang. If it does, you can copy the database into the new profile then put back the other settings you need. That way you get a shiny new profile without all the errors.

To rename the profile press Windows-R and in the Run dialog type:

Code:
%appdata%

(including the quotes) and click OK and an Explorer window will open. In that window find the folder called XBMC and rename it to XBMC-old. start XBMC and it will create a new XBMC folder with default settings.

Wierd: I can't see anything in the log that suggests a cause. It's hanging at around the point XBMC initialises all it's windows, so if I had to guess I'd say it was video related. Possibly something to do with the video driver?
