Made a deal with my girlfriend that I can buy new hard drives only if I can find them for $40 per TB. Wish the prices would come down already.

stalk your local staples or other retailer for displays/closeouts. Ive been picking up 2tb externals for between 60 and 80 this way and then just cracking the cases and removing the drives.
