It should be more than enough for OpenElec...if it is Intel Pentium E6300 / 2.8 GHz dual-core processor, it should handle most skins with ease and Nvidia GT520 should playback 1080P with ease too....

Well, I wan't to use the Aeon Nox skin and I noticed that it's quite detailed and heavy to run

One of my HTPC is E7200 (2.5 GHZ), and it can handle Aeon Nox with ease....

>HOW-TO Bitstreaming using XBMC
I refused to watch movie without bitstreaming HD audio!

How does OpenElec do with an AM3 mobo and CPU?
I'm having quite a hard time finding cheap 775 µATX mobo's and I can buy a cheap AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ and a motherboard

Should I use an SSD as boot device or will a USB stick do the trick?

And now a friend of mine wants me to build him and OpenElec/XBMC HTPC ^^
But he wants new hardware so I've selected this:

Code:
MS-TECH LC-01
MSI H61M-P23 (B3)
Intel G530
2 X Kingston ValueRAM DIMM 2 GB DDR3-1066
ASUS ENGT520 SILENT/DI/V2
MS-TECH LU-430 Bluetooth USB Adapter

Code:
MS-TECH LC-01
ASRock A55M-HVS
AMD A4-3300 APU
2 X Kingston ValueRAM DIMM 2 GB DDR3-1066
ASUS ENGT520 SILENT/DI/V2
MS-TECH LU-430 Bluetooth USB Adapter

Will this fullfil all my wildest dreams? Big Grin
