Hi, will the feature "Make Default" for a folder for the video section ever come back in XBMC?
I mean the old option that make you open your video folder when you click on Video in the XBMC home screen.
I'm still using XBMC 10 Dharma and I don't have upgraded to Eden because the lack of this option.
I'm think I'm not the only one that want this feature back, in fact in every thread we discuss about this there are a lot of people that want this back.
Thanks,
Make Video Folder as Default for the Video Section

It will once the video library reorganisation is done. There is zero point in adding what amounts to quite a bit of code for something that will be eliminated again in about a month.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting. Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules. For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first. ![]() |

It's also possible to do this with a fairly simple skin mod, or just using a skin that supports custom home buttons. I'll see if I can find something on how it goes, and maybe put together a how-to on the wiki to hold people over.
You can make easy links to the XBMC wiki using double brackets around words: [[debug log]] = debug log, [[Add-on:YouTube]] = Add-on:YouTube, [[Adding videos to the library]] = Adding videos to the library, [[userdata]] = userdata, etc |
