Is there a reason why there is no IMDB TV scraper?

Is there a reason why there is no TV scraper add-in that uses IMDB as its source, other than nobody choosing to actually make one? I thought there used to be one a year or two ago that suddenly disappeared in recent versions.

I mean, is there some sort of legal issue or technical issue preventing it? Or is it because TheTVDB is considered "good enough" that there is lack of interest?

Nothing to my knowledge other than nobody choosing to make one.

Just heads up that Artwork Downloader won't work with IMDB id numbers.
There is no reference between IMDB and theTVBD id numbers anywhere so that will be some problem.

TMDB works because they also store the IMDB id in their database which TVDB doesn't do

Is there a reference somewhere that lists the schema of the final generated XML file for a TV episode? I can find the one for a movie, but not that. I'm curious what else I might be missing other than TVDB ID?
