Ver. Windows Eden RC2
Windows 8 consumer preview patched current as of this post.
intel q6600 64bit
6gb ram
GTS450 driver ver. 296.17
TV is panasonic gt30
Receiver is pioneer vsx-821k
The connection to my receiver seems to flicker when playing H264 videos in XBMC. This does not happen in other media players and does not seem to happen with Xvid.
Everything is connected via HDMI
Here is the paste bin with the file playing for about a min. During this time the problem happened many(12+) times.
http://pastebin.com/6tzHfWPN
And here is the mediainfo for the file in question.
This seems to happen for every video file of this type I can find.
Important This has only begun happening after I updated video card drivers+a couple of windows update
The updates are
If the answer is simply to revert back to the old drivers that is fine. However I wanted to bring this to the attention of the people who should see it.
If it is a simple setting or something I am missing that would be great too.
Thanks for taking the time to look over this.
